5k Challenge Week 1

Hey guys! I am so excited to be a part of this link up with the amazing Katie from KTJ Weighing in and Kim from Latte and A Prayer

One of my fitness goals, as stated before is to be able to call myself a  "runner". However, due to laziness (I'm not gonna lie!) and my asthma, I have a lot more trouble running than most. I have tried to complete the C25k program numerous times and have never made it past Week 3. Well, with this link up, I feel like the exercise accountability and the virtual 5k on June 1, I will finally be able to accomplish my goals. I want to be able to run the entire time. I also am signed up for The Color Run in Baton Rouge, LA in April 20.. which is WAYYY closer than I'd like but with the training for the virtual 5k, I will hopefully be able to run a good majority of it. It is also me and the fianc√©'s 5th "dating" anniversary, and I could not think of a better way to celebrate!

Unfortunetly due to the constant weather changes down here in the South, my asthma has been acting up quite a lot so I have not been able to run or start my training. I am starting up my training again at tomorrow morning at Week 3 as I can still do Week 1 and 2 with no problem. That way if I have continuous trouble with Week 3 as I have had in the past, I will have a few weeks to get through it.

It is a gorgeous day down here and I am off to enjoy it.
Love you guys!

Stay tuned soon for a Wedding planning update post..I need you guys to help me decide!
